ABOUT US
KEMP has been raising emus since 2003. Under the direction of my father
Mr Suresh Mestry, we started EMU farming. He was studying about Emu since 2002, he decided for Emu Farming due to Efficacy and Usability of the Emu Bird.

  • Little waste- 96% of the bird is utilized
  • Weight gain to feed ratio is exceptionally low 4/1 to 2.5/1
  • Prolific - reproduce 10 - 60 times per season
    (Cattle reproduce once per year)
  • Low land use (poor quality land is acceptable)
  • Generate less manure than traditional livestock

Healthy, Usable, Trendy By-Products

  • Meat - Low Fat Red Meat
  • Oil - Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical applications
  • Leather - beautifully textured, durable hide & leg skins
  • Feathers - non-static, durable feathers used for crafts, fashions and cleaning.
  • Eggs - beautiful green eggs used for crafts and jewellery

His intention was to help farmers of the Maharashtra and India.
We have successfully completed the training in Emu farming from America at
Emu Products & Management, Inc. EPMI (Marlow - Texas). EPMI is in the emu industry since 19 years. We have been affiliated with them and we are backed by them for the future of this industry in INDIA.

Allow us to introduce you to our birds,
